Born and raised in south central Nebraska, Starlight graduated from Hastings College with honors before attending law school at the University of Texas at Austin. While continuing her work in the legal field, she is also currently obtaining her life coach certification.

Unfortunately, the other “blonde” relocated while this blog was in the final planning stages (as in, too late to change the name). The good news is that she is happy to do guest posts from the East Coast. In addition, there will be other “blondes” filling in for her from time to time as we travel America’s Heartland.
Here at Two Blondes in the Heartland, we explore all the Heartland states have to offer: restaurants, festivals, landmarks, traditions and more. Occasionally, we write about other locations, but our focus is primarily on the Midwest. We are so excited to show you how these “fly over states” are anything but!
